Conservatory Outlet has welcomed back former employee and graduate, Luke Hatfield, who has re-joined the company in a more senior role as purchasing manager.
Previously a purchasing assistant at Conservatory Outlet for over 3 years, 25-year-old Luke left the company to pursue further education at Lincoln University. Now a graduate, he is delighted to be reunited with many of his former colleagues and customers: ‘The opportunity to further my career at a company I know so well was too good to turn down and I’m very happy to be back,’ said Luke.
There have been many evident improvements at Conservatory Outlet over the last few years and my remit is to ensure that we are capable of meeting the vastly different requirement of our dealers, without compromising on lead times or service.’
Luke is one of several members of staff who have joined the…
Conservatory Outlet has joined the elite list of window fabricators who are Energy Saving Trust Recommended by becoming a manufacturer member of the widely recognised scheme.
The accreditation means that both Conservatory Outlet and a range of its Synseal Synergy energy rated products are approved by the Energy Saving Trust; the UK’s leading impartial organisation which aims to help people save energy and reduce carbon emissions.
A number of Conservatory Outlet’s installer-customers have also followed suit and become Retail Members of the scheme, following a presentation given by Elaine Berry of the Energy Saving Trust at the Conservatory Outlet dealer conference in April.
Greg Kane, sales director of Conservatory Outlet, said: ‘Our production team have worked extremely hard to develop energy rated products that are among the best in the industry, so it’s important that these products are given the recognition that they deserve.’

Conservatory Outlet has listened to its network of dealers and incorporated Solidor composite doors into its product range, following the very positive reaction that the timber-core doors received at the Conservatory Outlet Dealer Conference in April.
Gareth Mobley, managing director of Solidor, was invited to the event to present the company’s wide range of solid core composite doors. This includes thirteen internal and external colours as well as the Italia Collection of contemporary door panel designs, and it proved to be an overwhelming success.
As installation companies look to harness the sales opportunities for composite doors, Solidor has been particularly successful with its second generation door. Its product has been developed over a number of years and is not a ‘me-too’ GRP door filled with foam, but a solid core door complete with a number of unique sales features.
The Solidor door range is fully recyclable, free…
Conservatory Outlet is helping its retail customers beat the competition by adding the very latest composite door designs to its range, which also come complete with the latest locks, art decoration and framing.
The doors come in a wide range of traditional and contemporary designs, available in seven colours, together with a beautiful range of glass patterns and window styles. They have fully suited hardware in gold, chrome or black hardware to finish the door, so homeowners can be sure of a perfect match.
Conservatory Outlet’s composite doors are the most advanced in terms of endurance, weather proofing and maintenance, so there is no need to worry about cracking, splinters or fading on your new exterior front door or back doors. The composite doors are 44mm thick and powerful thanks to their super-strong structure.
The doors are also fully tested against foul weather of any kind, from…
Conservatory Outlet dealers made their way recently to a seminar designed to help them sharpen their sales techniques and strategies and to take maximum advantage of the increasing volumes of sales leads generated by the Conservatory Outlet web sites and television advertising.
Hosted by dealer Greenway Home Improvements at its Pontypool offices and showroom, the day was led by home improvement industry sales legend and guru Ted Urpens, who has previously headed sales for Everest and Thomas Sanderson.
Despite the assembled dealers being amongst the most experienced home improvement specialists in their areas, it was clear that there was a lot to be learned. Matthew Glover, managing director of Conservatory Outlet says that the dealers were impressed with the new ideas that came out of the day: “Many of our dealers have been successful for many years and might have assumed that there was little…
Housemaster Home Improvements has joined the Conservatory Outlet Network, marking a significant expansion in the network’s reach.
Conservatory Outlet is widely regarded to be a Yorkshire and Northern-based outfit. However, a recent push by the company’s managing director, Matthew Glover, resulted in widespread interest from companies based in the south.
Clive Brimmell, owner of Hertfordshire’s based Housemaster Home Improvements decided to join the network after learning that Conservatory Outlet was generating leads for the southern half England that didn’t have local member companies available to service them.
After Housemaster Home Improvements was able to prove its credentials as a competent retail company – including owning a showroom – Conservatory Outlet built a modern website (www.housemasterhome.com) for the company, which immediately started to generate business and sales enquiries from website visitors throughout Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire searching for the latest conservatories, orangeries and energy saving double…
We’ve recently held our dealer meeting at the Marriott hotel near Manchester Airport, and the feedback suggests it has been a real success.
Conservatory Outlet are keen to ensure that we encourage a team spirit amongst the dealers, and representatives of the various installation companies in the UK were present.
The day began with Andrew, Martin and Steven from Motionlab discussing the benefits of Conservatory Outlet and its dealers continuing to work hard developing our SEO and PPC campaigns. Not normally the most exciting subject, but the dealers were interested to learn how all the websites are developing with 50,000 visitors to our sites in January alone.
We then discussed standardising the marketing message further through the network particularly with special offers being run by the different dealers. Conservatory Outlet put so much effort into helping their dealers generate leads and sales from a variety of marketing strategies.
