The new site, put together by web design specialists Motionlab Marketing, has been redesigned to bring it in line with the theme of its main retail site. It seeks to give any interested dealer the full Conservatory Outlet proposition, informing them of the significant benefits of signing up.

New content has also been added throughout the site and navigation has been made as simple as possible so that new and existing dealers can find information as and when they need it.

The Conservatory Outlet dealership accounts for over 50% of UK installers and currently has 15 dealers on board covering the length and breadth of the country, but rather than rest on their laurels, the…

Conservatory Outlet Defies Online Downturn In Customer Enquiries

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Conservatory Outlet dealers experienced and unprecedented increase in the number of online enquiries for their products in January and February compared to the same time last year, despite reports that overall internet leads for conservatories were down by more than a quarter.

On average, members of the of the Conservatory Outlet network received 179% more internet leads than last year, with one regional installer recording a 344% improvement.

These results have been achieved during a time when internet searches for the phrases ‘conservatory’ and ‘conservatories’ have declined, as well as online enquiries for these products which are reported to have fallen by 27% in just 12 months.

Matthew Glover, Conservatory Outlet MD, attributes this success to a series of website re-designs that have taken place across the network in recent months, as well as the continual investment to maintain and improve search engine rankings.

‘Despite the slump in online traffic…

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

We all know how important it is to secure sales and leads within the home improvement industry. But, online sales have taken particular precedence in recent times and Planet South Lakes hopes their new website will help them to capitalise on this growing market.

The Cumbria-based company is a member of Conservatory Outlet’s UK-based network of dealers and has seen how other members have recently benefitted from having their website made over. With this in mind, Planet South Lakes handed over the reins to leading web design experts, Motionlab Marketing, who have been responsible for the redevelopment of their fellow dealers’ websites.

The first thing Motionlab looked to do was better communicate to online customers the full range of products that Planet South Lakes has available. As one of the leading supplier of orangeries, roofline and UPVC windows in Cumbria and Lancashire, Planet South Lakes has plenty to shout about,…

Goals Galore for Conservatory Outlet Dealers

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Conservatory Outlet generated close to 3000 internet leads for its network of dealers in January.

The latest statistics provide further justification for the company, if any were needed, that its continual and considerable investment in internet marketing is certainly money well spent.

Of the 2900 leads generated, Conservatory Outlet’s main website accounted for over one third, with the rest being generated by the regional dealers’ bespoke websites which are all search engine optimised and provided free of charge by Conservatory Outlet.

Leads – or ‘goals’ as they are termed by internet marketers – are qualified online in a number of ways. Those that are generated by the main Conservatory Outlet website are immediately sent to the appropriate dealer, giving regional sales personnel the opportunity to contact the lead without delay.

‘The success of our internet strategy has offset the effects of a shrinking window, door and conservatory market,’ said Greg…

Conservatory Outlet Increases Its Marketing Manpower

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Conservatory Outlet has made its latest investment in marketing; this time in the form of twenty-four-year-old Ben Wilson, who has joined the company’s successful PR and Marketing team.

Ben, a graduate from Sheffield Hallam University with valuable previous experience in the window industry, will provide marketing support across the board for both Conservatory Outlet and its network of dealers. Indeed, one of his first objectives is to establish a more regular and effective communication channel between head office and regional dealers, as well as to help these individual dealers achieve more exposure in their local press. He will also be charged with raising the awareness of Conservatory Outlet’s admirable environmental policy and the work of the associated charities that MD Matthew Glover is involved with.

Ben’s arrival at Conservatory Outlet comes just three months after it announced the appointment of Greg Kane as Sales Director. The recent investment in personnel…

Conservatory Outlet has updated its website in a bid to improve the generation of leads for its network of dealers, which has seen immediate success – the conversion rate of visitors to enquirers doubled within the first month of operation.

The website is also supported by a new brochure which features new photography and case studies of some of the high-end products that the company offers, such as orangeries, bi-fold doors, composite doors, and coloured profile.

“It sounds completely clichéd, but we want our customers to make as much money as possible,” Conservatory Outlet’s managing director, Matthew Glover, explained. “Our business model has been designed to offer successful retail outlets an improved marketing platform. The main way we do this is by giving them a new website that has been optimised to feature high on search engine results.

New Conservatory Outlet Website Launched

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Every website has a shelf life, especially when a company becomes bigger and better. This is certainly the case with one of Motionlab’s longest serving client’s, Conservatory Outlet.

Due to a huge increase in the amount of people visiting Conservatory Outlet’s website, the success of their TV campaigns and online advertising, it was decided to refresh the website and introduce new imagery and content – allowing the customers an even greater experience when choosing a home improvement company. This also included the introduction of new product ranges, services offered and additional showrooms recently opened throughout the UK.

Motionlab’s designers have purposely made the new site more user-friendly so that potential customers can find their way around the site quicker and more simply when shopping for conservatories, orangeries, and glass extensions. Fresh and cleaner images of each product offered have been added so that visitors feel like they are entering a…

Conservatory Sales Strong For Conservatory Outlet Yorkshire Dealer

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Yorkshire based Conservatory, Window & Door Outlet recently extended its showroom to display six conservatories. This, they say, is in direct response to the increase in interest shown by homeowners in extending and improving their homes rather than moving properties.

Conservatory, Window & Door Outlet also said that homeowners are turning to the internet for inspiration and suitable companies. They have found that the opportunities here more than compensate for the reported national dip in conservatory sales.

The company, which has been a Conservatory Outlet dealer for four years, works in the West Yorkshire area – primarily Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Batley, Bradford, Halifax and Leeds. The owners – Phil Naylor and Andy Ibberson – have seen their sales grow by 62% between 2008 and 2009, and they are chasing a further 20% increase for 2010.

“Despite what the doomsayers say, business is definitely picking up,” Andy Ibberson, Conservatory, Window & Door…

Conservatory Outlet Offering Advice To Other Conservatory Companies

Author: Conservatory Outlet Team  |  Leave a Comment >>

Few conservatory and double glazing companies in the UK are developing their internet presence successfully, and harnessing the potential of online marketing. Conservatory Outlet have recognised this and are now offering free marketing advice to other installation companies (even their competitors).

According to Matthew Glover, the Managing Director, of Conservatory Outlet, “In some respects, it is great news for me that so many companies in the double glazing industry neglect their websites and spend so little time thinking about their online marketing strategy. I say this because there is so many potential customers surfing online, and the less the competition the better.”

According to Google there are 550,000 searches per month in the UK for ‘conservatories‘ and 301,000 searches per month for ‘double glazing‘. That’s a lot of people doing research!

Yet, most companies do very little to target these customers. With just a few…

Conservatory Outlet dealers made their way recently to a seminar designed to help them sharpen their sales techniques and strategies and to take maximum advantage of the increasing volumes of sales leads generated by the Conservatory Outlet web sites and television advertising.

Hosted by dealer Greenway Home Improvements at its Pontypool offices and showroom, the day was led by home improvement industry sales legend and guru Ted Urpens, who has previously headed sales for Everest and Thomas Sanderson.
