Claiming to be the North West’s most successful conservatory retailer, Conservatory Outlet dealer Clearview Home Improvements has added a third showroom as part of its strategy to boost sales this year by 25%.
Ideally located on a new Warrington retail park adjacent to other home improvement retailers and major retail brands from all sectors, the new Clearview showroom is the result of a £150,000 investment to create what is believed by Conservatory Outlet to be ‘the best retail conservatory showroom in the North of England and probably the UK’.
The showroom contains 8 fully featured conservatories in a range of styles, including a number of orangeries constructed using traditional brick and others using the latest modular components. A range of colours also illustrates the options open to customers, with bi-fold doors bound to provide an attraction to visitors. Every conservatory is fully furnished in a range…

The management team of Synseal announced today that it had purchased the share capital of Synseal Extrusions Ltd and Allerford Holdings Ltd from Gary Dutton MBE for an undisclosed sum.
The successful culmination of several months of negotiation was concluded with the partnership of H.I.G. Capital Ltd a global private equity business.
David Leng, Chief Executive commented:
“We are very excited to be driving Synseal through its next period of growth. We can see some great opportunities for ourselves and our customers in a fragmented window and conservatory market. We have a very strong manufacturing and logistics base that delivers first class product on time, every time, and we aim to make that really count for our customers.
Synseal has historically grown by offering the right product at the right price and we will be developing those values in the future.
Our customers can expect to see an increase in…
Conservatory Outlet dealers are currently looking for good quality salespeople at present. We’re particularly looking for experienced sales staff with a proven track record of converting at over 50% conversion rate working strong leads generated via our websites, local media, recommendations and showroom traffic.
Conservatory Outlet and our Network Dealers do not operate foot canvassing or tele-canvassing, and are keen to get people on board who are not high pressure, yet professional in how they present to consumers. We’re not looking for job hoppers but people used to working with 100% professionalism.
With the high volume of leads we are currently generating, we have dealers covering the following areas looking for sales staff:
These are the main areas, but dealers in other areas are always keen to talk to good sales staff. So, if…
At the end of the Conservatory Outlet Dealer Conference held recently those attending asked for the event to be a regular feature of the calendar, with some key decisions having been made that stamped their mark on what is regarded by many as Britain’s best independent retail window, door and conservatory organisation .
This was just the second such meeting organised by Conservatory Outlet for their nine dealers who between them run 16 showrooms, at which they learned about the work that goes into maintaining the central web site and their individual web sites that are provided as part of their commitment to the network. They also had the opportunity to comment on a number of new product initiatives that had been researched, voting against some new hardware finishes but approving a new bi-fold door, thus demonstrating the very real influence they have in how Conservatory Outlet…
Despite appalling weather that disrupted sales activity for much of January and virtually wiped out installation work, Conservatory Outlet’s proactive online lead generation activities managed to generate more than 1250 sales leads in January, a rise of 46% compared to a similar – and largely snow-free – corresponding period last year. Even sales were a remarkable 17.5% ahead across the network.
Projections are for a 25% increase over the 12 months of 2010 to 20,000 sales leads, which will be distributed amongst Conservatory Outlet’s nine dealers and 16 showrooms, located in the North of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. However, with the company’s web site appearing at the top of all of the popular search engines under ‘conservatories’ and other key headings, many of these leads will be from areas in which dealers have yet to be established. “Our existing dealers share thousands of sales enquiries between…
